NAD+, glutathione and vitamin C: immune system and vitality in one infusion

Clients value this infusion when they want to do something to support their immune system and their vitality at the same time. It combines NAD+ 200 mg with glutathione and vitamin C.

In the scientific literature, NAD+ is discussed in connection with topics such as cell regeneration, mitochondrial processes and energy balance. For us, this does not mean perfection or anti-ageing promises, but a conscious approach to energy, strain, recovery and cell health.

What is in the combination IV drip?

NAD+: NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme the body produces itself. More on this in the section above.
Glutathione: Glutathione is a tripeptide produced by the body, a compound of three amino acids: glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. As an antioxidant, it plays a role in protecting cells from oxidative stress and is involved in the liver's detoxification metabolism.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C, chemically ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin. The human body cannot produce it itself and normally takes it in through food. Among other things, it contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to normal collagen formation (for skin and blood vessels, among others) and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

All ingredients are given as an infusion through a vein. Which infusion is suitable for you is something we discuss before your first infusion, during the medical history.

Combination or NAD+ on its own?

The combination contains NAD+ at a dosage of 200 mg. If you would like NAD+ on its own or at a different dosage, you will find all five dosages from 125 to 1000 mg on the page about the NAD+ IV drip in Hamburg. Glutathione and vitamin C without NAD+ are contained in the immune booster infusion.

What does the combination IV drip cost?

The combination of NAD+ 200 mg, glutathione and vitamin C costs € 499.- per infusion.

How long does the combination IV drip take?

The combination infusion takes 120 minutes.

Is NAD+ also available on its own?

Yes, we offer NAD+ in five dosages from 125 to 1000 mg, all on the page about the NAD+ IV drip. If you are receiving a NAD+ infusion for the first time, you should start with 125 mg.

How often should I come for the combination IV drip?

We deliberately do not recommend a fixed schedule. Come back whenever you feel the need for it. We are happy to discuss this with you in person.

Are there any side effects?

Our infusions are well tolerated by our clients. Very rarely, mild, temporary sensations may occur, such as a brief feeling of warmth. Before your first infusion, we discuss your health status, any pre-existing conditions and allergies in a short medical history.

Does health insurance cover the costs?

Statutory health insurance generally does not cover the costs. Private health insurance or supplementary insurance may cover them in some cases. Please check this with your insurer beforehand and let us know before your appointment, as further details are needed for billing, for example a diagnosis.

What happens at the first appointment?

Before your first infusion we always take a short medical history. We talk about your current state of health, any pre-existing conditions and allergies. After that you receive your infusion in a private, quiet setting in central Hamburg. How long the infusion itself takes is shown in the prices above.

What is important for my appointment?

Above all, arriving on time. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment so you can settle in and we can start in a relaxed way. If you booked online through our booking portal, you can fill in your registration form in advance. If you booked by phone, please fill it in on site during this time. If the start is delayed for whatever reason, we may have to cut your appointment short or end it early, as the next appointments follow directly afterwards.

I have difficult veins. Can I still have an infusion?

In most cases, yes. I have many years of experience with venous access, starting with up to 200 blood draws and injections a day during my training in the German armed forces. I know plenty of techniques to find even weak or hard-to-see veins, and I also use an infrared vein finder that makes the veins under the skin visible. If placing a line has been difficult for you before, just let us know in advance.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

You can book your preferred time online. If no suitable slot is available and it is urgent, please call us on 040-659 11 531 or send us a WhatsApp message. We can often still find a possibility.

Can I just drop in?

Is a combination IV drip also possible as a home visit?

Home visits are possible from 2 people, subject to availability. Travel costs € 60.- up to 5 km, € 75.- up to 20 km and € 90.- up to 30 km.

Where do I find the Infusionbar?

At Mönckebergstraße 19 in central Hamburg, directly opposite “Galeria” (formerly “Karstadt”) and at the “Gerhart-Hauptmann-Platz” bus stop. Jungfernstieg underground station is within walking distance. The entrance is to the left of the gummy bear shop, then take one of the two lifts to the 5th floor.

I look after you personally, from your medical history to the very last minute of your infusion.

My path to the infusion needle did not begin at university but in the German armed forces: during my two-year officer training, in hospital and in the barracks, I practised taking blood and giving injections up to 200 times a day, so every move is second nature by now.

After studying human medicine, I then took a different path: instead of everyday clinical work, I joined an international cosmetics company in “science and sales”.

My real passion, thanks to my father, a food manufacturer, had always been something else: healthy nutrition and the prevention of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes that comes with it.

Of all things, it was a marriage proposal that brought me back to medicine: I wanted to be in top shape for my wedding and in 2007 developed the NWL (Natural Weight Loss) programme, initially just for myself. Eleven kilos in six weeks were the starting point for my own nutrition counselling practice, which I initially ran alongside my job. In 2010 this became NWL The Natural Weight Loss Company GmbH, which I have been developing ever since.

To be able to work truly holistically, I passed the Heilpraktiker exam (German state-licensed naturopath) in 2014. Since then I have combined conventional medical knowledge, expertise in nutritional medicine and naturopathic perspectives.

In 2019 I opened the Infusionbar, the first in Hamburg.

What started as a local offer has since become known far beyond the city: our clients now come from all over Germany and around the world, and for some the Infusionbar is the first stop after landing in Hamburg – even before the hotel.
